All scaffolding erected by Austins Cradles Ltd is built in line with regulations and to CITB standards. Our scaffolding company adheres to strict health and safety guidelines and current regulations, no matter the size of the job. Our staff are CISRS accredited, so you can be confident that work will be fully compliant.
Furthermore, as members of the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC), we comply with TG20:21 and SG4:22, ensuring a safe working environment.
As qualified scaffolders committed to safe working practices, we also hold memberships/accreditations with CHAS, Constructionline and the SafeContractor Scheme.
All scaffolds require an inspection after installation and before first use. They must then be inspected at intervals not exceeding 7 days, or following any circumstances liable to jeopardise the safety of the installation, such as high winds.
Our scaffolding company can complete scaffold inspections for our customers in Eastbourne, Brighton, Haywards Heath and the surrounding areas. Inspections are booked on a weekly basis, not exceeding the 7-day period. Our inspectors hold a CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection certificate and wear full PPE.
The domestic and commercial scaffolders on our team check against NASC standards to ensure scaffolds are compliant with TG20:21 requirements. We produce NASC compliance sheets, which provide further information for inspections. All scaffold components are checked, including ground conditions, tubes, boards, public protections, debris and netting, ensuring the scaffold has not been adapted by other trades or weather has not affected the structure.
Any problems are noted on our digital inspection form, photographed and notified/emailed to the client. Scaffolds are fitted with ScafTag, which is used as an inspection register and informs other trades that the scaffold is suitable for use.
